You upload a static image, choose the output Width, pick the reviewed Minecraft blocks, and generate the design in your browser.
The current Image to Minecraft Pixel Art tool converts the source image into a block-sized grid, maps the image colors to the reviewed Concrete, Wool, and Terracotta palette of 49 eligible blocks for Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.5, and shows a preview with the Grid and material counts.
You can download the result as a PNG and use it as a build reference; the output is a pixel-art design to place in-game, not a Minecraft world file or an automatic in-game build.
Start with a clear source image, choose a Width that keeps the subject readable, and review the derived Height and block palette before you generate.
The current tool accepts a Width from 1 to 128 blocks and starts at 64. Height follows the source aspect ratio, so a portrait image produces a taller design than a landscape one.
Small details in the source can disappear when the image is reduced to a block grid, so keep the main subject large and crop away empty margins. The size guide and block palette guide below explain these tradeoffs in detail.
